Hello Everyone! Fall is just around the corner.
Our volunteer social will be September 6th, at 5 PM. Hope to see all our volunteers there!
Watch for flying bean bags and racing residents as they ready for the Senior Olympics October 10th. We hope everyone has a happy and safe labor day!

Resident of the Month: Josephine Brittain

Ms. Brittain was chosen by the resident council as our resident of the month for September. She was born in Hardeman County, TN and has lived her whole life here, except for the nine months that she was in business school. She attended Bolivar Central and graduated in 1965, and worked at Bill’s Flowers while in school. Mr. Brittain was married to Mr. Brittain for 30 years and they had 5 children between the two of them. Billy Jerome Ervin, Raymond Andrew Ervin, Jackie Brittain, Diane Holmes, and Debbie Hays. She has 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She worked at Hardeman County Bank for 16 years and was a CNA from 1988 until 2002. Ms. Brittain enjoyed cooking, coloring, painting, and writing. She loves to attend church and sing gospel music and is a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She moved to Pine Meadows in 2015. Congratulations Ms. Josephine Brittain!

Employee of the Month: Mike Starnes

Mr. Mike Starnes was selected as our employee of the month for September. He is an RN on the weekends. Mr. Starnes’s parents are Jim and Mary Lee Starnes, his wife is Lawana Starnes and his children are Brandon, Rachel, Marie, Amanda, and Jimmy. He enjoys the people he works with and loves nursing. Mr. Starnes feels special when family members come to him and say thank you for taking care of their loved ones. Congratulations and thank you for all of your hard work Mr. Starnes!!

Volunteer of the Month: Bro. Jimmy Hibbler

Bro. Jimmy Hibbler and his group were chosen by the resident council as our volunteers of the month for September. Bro. Hibbler, Mrs. Kay Hibbler, and his nurse, Janice Gray come to Pine Meadows on the first, second, third, and fifth Thursdays of the month. Bro. Hibbler, Assisted by Mrs. Hibbler and Janice Gray, teaches the word of God and offers peace, love, and compassion to all the residents. Ms. Gray often brings special treats for the residents. Congratulations to Bro. Hibbler, Mrs. Hibbler, and Janice Gray! Thank you for all you do, and for being wonderful volunteers!
